The first application should stay on for 8 to 24 hours. Replace it sooner if there is excessive weeping or fluid buildup.
Can I shower while wearing Saniderm?
Yes, Saniderm is waterproof. You can shower normally, but avoid soaking the bandage in baths, hot tubs, or swimming pools.
Is Saniderm safe for sensitive skin?
Saniderm is latex-free and hypoallergenic. However, we recommend a small patch test if you have a history of adhesive allergies.
How many bandages will I need for one tattoo?
Most tattoos require two to three applications over a 7-day healing period for optimal results.
What should I do if my bandage begins to peel?
If the tattoo is exposed, remove the bandage immediately, clean the area with mild soap, and apply a fresh piece or follow traditional aftercare.
Does Saniderm protect against UV rays?
While Saniderm provides a physical barrier, it does not contain SPF. Keep your healing tattoo out of direct sunlight.
